The Norfolk Moth Survey began life as a small group of keen amateur lepidopterists in 1985. From this small group it developed under the guidance of the Natural History Department of the Castle Museum in Norwich and latterly the Norfolk Biological Record Centre at Gressenhall. It now numbers over 200 interested people in East Anglia and beyond. It seeks to:

Research moth distribution and numbers in the County of Norfolk.
Hold Summer meetings.
Present indoor identification and members information meetings.
Collect & record information as part of the national network of Local Record Centres (LRCs) .

If you require further information about the Norfolk Moth Survey, please email Dave Hipperson
